Learning tours offer an exceptional opportunity for individuals to broaden their horizons and acquire valuable skills, while connecting with participants prior to the conference. These hands-on learning tours take participants out of the traditional conference setting and provide a deeper understanding of the tourism and hospitality sector.

  • Tour A: Discover Brantford: A City of Sports, Heritage and History

    Immerse yourself in local history as we explore the Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition, where athletic excellence comes alive and champions live forever within these walls. Dive into the military history of the Brantford, Brant and Six Nations area at the Canadian Military Heritage Museum, where every meticulously preserved artifact tells a story. Finally, visit the Bell Homestead National Historic Site, the birthplace of the telephone and where Alexander Graham Bell made the world's first successful long-distance telephone call. Join us for an enriching afternoon and Discover Brantford for yourself!

    Join Six Nations Tourism and Esha’s Eats on an indigenous culinary experience like no other! Start the day with a deliciously, hands-on cooking experience with Chef Aicha Smith-Belghaba and learn about Haudenosaunee culinary culture, the significance of certain ingredients, and the importance of specific foods to the Haudenosaunee peoples. After cooking our own lunch, we will tour Six Nations and see how Ohsweken is growing and offering unique experiences to cater to the growing tourism industry in Hamilton, Halton and Brant.
